Hi there!
I’m Amelia, a Milwaukee based Costume Designer and Technician. During my time in undergrad at Marquette University, I fell in love with Milwaukee’s quirky charm, gorgeous summers, and thriving art scene. I’ve been living and working here ever since!
My work as a designer is driven by my passion for storytelling and the belief that a strong designer is a well-rounded theatre artist. I love the collaborative nature of theater and working as a team to create a unique piece of art. Period pieces excite me most as an opportunity to dive into historical research. My favorite shows include On the Verge, The Drowning Girls, Airness, and Hamilton.
When I’m not in the theater, you may find me at the local coffee shop, reading a book about some obscure historical event, or shopping for vegetables (that will inevitably rot in my fridge) at the farmer’s market in my neighborhood.
